Well here goes with 5 things I am thankful to our Lord for!!
- Blessing me with two wonderful strong willed children who can test my patience but are beautiful, funny and a gift.
- Giving me a loving husband who recognises how important it is for mums to stay at home with their children wherever possible for the early years of their life.
- For saving someone like me!! I didn't discover Jesus until my late twenties and am not proud of my lifestyle previous to being saved. Thank you Lord Jesus for saving a wretch like me!
- Providing all my material needs, even when things are tight and I need to think more frugally He always provides food on our table.
- God's word ; like a tonic which restores our soul and through his guidance I am getting better at regularly reading this. There is an excellent post over at CWO Internet Cafe on this.

Yes, strong-willed children are a blessing! My two were (and still are in their twenties). They have typically not been swayed by peer pressure and have remained independent thinkers.
ReplyDeleteThat is a true blessing in these current times.
Amen to #3....I'm right there with you!
ReplyDeleteOh, what a wretch I was, and still can't believe that God sent His Son to die for me!!! What a new creation from my old life-style, Oh how I give Him praise!
ReplyDeleteWhat a joy your list is!!
Lovingly,

Oh what a Savior! He and I met face-to-face in my 30's so He had (and still has) a lot of work to do. I'm thankful He is patient. Blessings, SusanD
ReplyDeleteHow peaceful it is to know that God will provide EVERY need we have as long as stay obedient to Him!! He blesses far more than any of us deserve!

#4 is so true. In these times when jobs are hard to find or keep. One of my own family is suggling with that problem. And I know that we live the commandments and serve others our Heavenly Father will bless us will the things that we need.

Where would we be without God's grace. None of us are worthy, and yet God gave His Son so that we might be saved. I praise Him with you for His marvelous gift of salvation.
