The housework can wait?

I just read a fantastic post by Chelsey (Joyfully living for His Glory), over At the Well... In pursuit of Titus 2.

This post is all about housework and the attitudes with which we do it.

And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ. (Col 3:23-24)

I find this a hard thing to do! Chelsey has written some very wise words on this subject and I urge to read and ponder them!

A few of you asked if I would post my chore list once I organised one. I decided to do this because my home was getting to be a bit of a disaster! It still is to an extent! So if you wish you can have a look at it here!

  3. Oh that is precious! I love the little pictures, so cute!

I find having a chore list very helpful. It lets me know what I have to do!

Thank you for reminding me of Who I am doing it for, my friend!

BTW, I still meet my friends at McDonald's sometimes so their kids can run around.

  6. I always refer back to that scripture when it comes to doing housework and serving at church! It's so easy to get in my flesh, but once I get my heart right, then my attitude starts to change.
